I can hardly stand the anticipation of what's going to happen next!

Aaaaaand I did almost exactly what I said I was hoping not to do.

Last night (Friday), I spent $22.53 while on a date. Being that I was already 13.55 in the negative, maybe you guys should actually start giving me some advice on how not to spend money on a date like I asked you to (Other than that whole "don't go on one" piece of advice that some seem to think is the answer).

So now I am approximately - $36.08 in the hole.

Man, this is getting exciting, isn't it?!?

Why is he still not paying??? Until Rich and I were "steady," he always paid. We started divvying things up more once our relationship was solid (ie, practically living together).

I suggest the following:

1 Theodore Wirth Park sledding hill (free, and available just down the street)
2 sleds (available in the garage)
1 flask of liquor

I love that I have roomies available to gang up my dates!!!!

Jen, we'll have to sit down and have a little convo about this. I think you'll like the little story I have to tell.

Thanks for the advice, Rich. I appreciate it, even though I was JUST thinking the other day about how sledding was not a date idea I ever really wanted to do. The flask part sounds good, tho'...

Well, I'll put that in the same category as bike rides then.

If you want to go really cheap -- there's a sweet scenic overlook by Metro State in St. Paul with an old-school drive in burger joint near by.

Sledding is not a date I would want to go on either. But I'm always up for a date with a flask involved.

Hmmm...we got lots of movies you could borrow for a night in. But we can also hear you if you stay here. hehe!

Gross, Jen! But I will totally borrow your movies from you...to watch at his place.

Hmm...that might not be a bad idea, Rich...I kind of miss the days of "look-out points". I learned a lot from dates that revolved around that particular activity...
